Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

We primarily focus:

  • Full-home renovations

  • Kitchens

  • Bathrooms

  • Basement remodels

  • Wainscoting

  • Custom Cabinetry

Projects where both design and renovation are involved allow us to deliver the most cohesive and well-executed results.

Do you help with furniture and finishes?

Yes. We offer full-service interior design, including mood boards, material selections, sourcing, and procurement of furniture and finishes—ensuring a cohesive and fully realized space.

Can I purchase items on my own?

We guide and handle all purchasing for clients to maintain design integrity, but we can accommodate client-provided items that aren’t construction related when appropriate and agreed upon in writing beforehand.

What makes Haus Interiors different?

We take a design-driven approach to every project, placing a strong emphasis on planning before construction begins. By working closely with each client, we develop a clear, detailed vision that guides every decision along the way. Which includes 3D renderings of all Cabinetry.

Our process is built on strong communication and consistent collaboration, ensuring you feel informed, supported, and confident throughout. We approach every home with a sense of ownership—maintaining a high standard of quality and care so the final result reflects both the design intent and the level of execution it deserves.

Do you require a down payment?

We offer initial consultations and general estimates without an upfront fee. If structural evaluation is needed, an independent consultant may be required.

Once under contract, we require a pre-construction retainer to begin detailed design, planning, and coordination. This amount is applied toward our project fee and is not an additional charge

What does your process look like?

Our process begins with understanding your goals and developing a clear design plan, including layouts, selections, and detailed documentation. From there, we coordinate with trade partners, manage timelines, and oversee execution—ensuring the design is carried through with consistency and attention to detail.

How is my project supervised?

Each home remodeling project we take on has a dedicated Project Manager. Your personal Project Manger is responsible for scheduling the trades and materials, meeting the building inspectors, quality control and completing the final punch list.

How long will it take to complete my home remodeling or renovation project?

Each project is unique, with timing based on scope of work. As a general rule, you can expect the following timelines, depending on your project with us:

  • Second Stories - Minimum 120 working days

  • Room Additions - Minimum 80 - 100 working days

  • Kitchen Remodels - Minimum 50 - 75 working days

  • Total Home Renovations - Minimum 125 - 150 working days

The timeframe in which your project will be completed will be clearly communicated upfront and made part of the overall agreement before any work is started.

Does someone need to be home while work is being completed?

Nope! Once construction starts we notify you of the expected schedule for any working being completed. We usually ask you to leave an entrance available for our Project Managers, designer, and craftsmen to be able to come and go as necessary.

Who handles the architectural and design work?

Haus Interiors manages every aspect of each home remodeling project. We have our own in-house designers. If there are any structural changes all floor plans and blueprints are generated by licensed and insured Architects and Engineers. We secure the necessary building permits as part of your home renovation and/or remodel project.
